About the Image(s)

Taken just outside of Jackson Wyoming on a cold winter day. There were several swans on the frozen ice and in the water. I liked the way the ice had small clumps on it and the way the swan was preening. I cropped the image, sharpened a bit and that is about all.

Bruce, obviously the cold weather and the ice/snow does not bother the swan at all. laying in the ice and preening like business as usual. Your PP brought out more detail and color, and the most important element, the eye. the multiple clump of snow complement the image and frame the bird.   Posted: 04/02/2021 08:30:15

Bruce, I love the story being told by this Trumpeter Swan. Though he is keeping himself warm, it almost seems as if he is hoping someone will lend him a heavier winter coat. Very effective composition.   Posted: 04/03/2021 10:02:35

Bruce, the way the swan is ed up reminds me of my dogs and how they also up for warmth and comfort. The image is sharp, the cropping and PP are just right and the backstory adds to the overall package. Well done!   Posted: 04/15/2021 12:21:37
