About the Image(s)

Taken from Steptoe Butte in Eastern Washinton last June. The Palouse is a world class location known for it's green rolling hills, with red barns. Steptoe Butte is a large hill that rises about 1,000 feet above the surrounding area creating fantasting views 360 degree views.

I did not do much to the image other than reduce the shadows a bit and use the dehaze filter.

Bruce, indeed this is also an iconic view of the Palouse. You were lucky to encounter beautiful light at the end of the day creating those long shadows of the hills, and very little haze and overcast so you have a good and sharp background. Your PP also improved the image considerably bringing out those intense shades of green, yellow and magenta. Very sharp throughout.
