About the Image(s)
This is an old shot from a trip to the Bodie ghost town in Northern California. It was taken with a Nikon D300 using a 24-70 f2.8 lens at f8. ISO was 100 with speed of 1/8. Bodie is one the best preserved ghost towns in America and well worth the trip. We paid for the photographers package which allowed access in the buildings. This shot was taken from outside, looking through the wire screen on the window. I processed it using PSCC with Topaz AI clear, Nik Silver Effects and some masking and dodging to highlight the bottle. I like the stove in the background as it helps to date the scene.

Walt, interesting shot. The "nature..al" component must be the Orange Blossom Honey. Indeed is a timeless image. It is very sharp, and the Nik Silver Effex treatment gives more punch to it. Good subdued color.   Posted: 12/09/2019 16:57:20

Walt, interesting image here. The label really adds to the interest. I might suggest burning the chair which distracts from the stove in the middle of the image and draws my eye out . Bruce   Posted: 12/16/2019 17:19:23

A very interesting image Walt, with quality post production work. I'm inclined to agree that the brightness of the chair takes one's eye out of the picture somewhat. Love it though and thank you for sharing.   Posted: 12/17/2019 11:05:33

Much better indeed. We get caught by the little picture, not the big one !!!   Posted: 12/23/2019 13:45:25
