About the Image(s)

I have taken this image last weekend in a lake near to the place I stay here in India. This image is taken using Nikon D750 with a Nikkor 24-120 F4 lens. Settings were f/22, 2sec, ISO:80, FL:24mm, ND-08 and Tripod. Post processing is done in LR Classic CC. I have cropped the image balancing between foreground and the background components. Done lot of dust removal. Used a ND filter during processing with some exposure and colour correction.

Abhijeet, as the name implies, very peaceful image. Your PP work really improved the image considerably. Beautiful sky/clouds. It is sharp, and the long exposure gave the quiet waters view. Your selection of cropping is also very suitable giving prevalence to the sky.   Posted: 08/14/2019 12:25:43

It is amazing how much good post processing can improve a capture. I especially appreciate how the grasses in the water have been brought out, along with the clouds.

My apologies to all of you for forgetting that we are a nature group. I submitted architecture!!!

Abhijeet, this is the sort of picture that would look fantastic framed on a wall. We taken and developed. My only suggestion is to deal with the small light bit of grass lower left - it just catches my eye.   Posted: 08/24/2019 12:32:30
