About the Image(s)

This is an image of an Indian Hog Deer I had taken during one of my trips to Kaziranga National Park. It was evening and the deer crossed in front of our jeep, paused and looked towards us - all alert.

Taken this using a Nikon D5300 with a Tamron 150-600mm G2 lens. Settings were f/8, 1/2500sec, ISO:1600 and FL:600MM. Post processing is done in LR-Classic CC. Done color correction and sharpening.

Abhijeet, this is the first time I see this variety of Deer. You were able to catch his/her interest and look at you. It is sharp. The background is soft and non distracting. I just did a selection of the eyes and added some brightness to them. To me the original and the actual image look the same, and cropped square. Perhaps you did not send the actual original ?   Posted: 10/09/2018 15:45:41

Abhjeet, You certainly have a nice variety of wildlife to photograph. I like the pose showing interest in you, it is sharp. I find the bright background distracting so did a selective vignette around the deer. Bruce   Posted: 10/23/2018 16:46:18
