I was walking across our pasture when I spotted this Monarch butterfly perched on a Russian thistle. Fortunately, I had my camera.

I'll just agree with everyone else's comments and add that the color contrast between the butterfly and the thistle helps focus attention on the butterfly. Posted: 10/26/2020 11:36:51
