March 2019 - Sunset Cloud over San Diego

About the Image(s)

This photo was taken two weeks ago immediately after a rain storm at Mount Soledad. Downtown is at the right hand side.

It was taken with Nikon D810 at f/13 and 1/40 sec. The lens was Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 at 200mm. Both PS and LR were used to enhanced the color.

Great capture -- massive storm clouds capturing the evening light. Just as a suggestion, you might crop the bottom at the top on that hill or ridge. To me, this is dead space. If you crop, you'll draw more attention to the pretty colors on the city below. Nice work -- as usual!   Posted: 03/11/2019 19:19:09

Powerful image. I might open the shadows (or increase the exposure) on the city a little.   Posted: 03/24/2019 05:54:54

That is one big cloud! Cool picture. I agree with opening the shadows to see the city more, but otherwise, it's a great picture.   Posted: 03/31/2019 12:38:40
