The tufts of golden grass set the composition well for the scenery beyond the river here. The details of the rocky mesa and rising mountain appear crisply in a pleasing range of blues and are a perfect complement to the golden highlights!   Posted: 02/23/2021 08:17:57

Hi Todd,

The most significant impact of this image, to me, is the color combination. The maker must have apply complementary color concept effectively here. Second, this is also an effective demonstration of excellent focus stacking technique. Job well done Todd.   Posted: 02/24/2021 19:42:33

I started using focus stacking more often as well to get clear, crisp subjects throughout the scene. I agree, it is the colors here that make the shot. A nice combination of cool and warm colors together. I take it that there wasn't too much wind at that exposure. Nice shot!   Posted: 02/26/2021 11:22:18

Agree with all the comments of the complementary colors in this image. Very nicely cropped image that leads viewers eyes from near field of golden grass to the golden sky.   Posted: 02/26/2021 15:38:43
