About the Image(s)
Thanks you all for your constructive comments last month. I have put virtually the same image up this month but from a different angle. I hope I don't bore you too much. This is another Cascade Image taken in landscape format and cropped to a panorama 3:1. What do you think? Which one do you prefer? I used the same settings as the previous image, F/11, 0.8 sec at 28mm. Tripod and umbrella. Cheers Glenn

Glen, I like both editions. Getting in closer to the water flow over the small falls has to my eye made the subject more compelling. I also endorse Pierre's suggested further narrowing down the scene to emphasize the particular area to be featured.   Posted: 03/11/2019 09:58:18

I like both (yours and Pierre's edit) as well. I think the .8 exposure was good for this particular condition. Beautiful and definitely the Cascades.   Posted: 03/11/2019 20:41:54

Glen, I like your creativity to frame this scene with low angle shot. I agree with Pierre to exclude distracting fall at the top. My only suggestion is to darken the surrounding area to expose smoothness of the fall. Nice work!   Posted: 03/13/2019 01:15:29
Hi Glen,
For me the primary area of interest in the photo is the great texture of the water you achieved with a longer exposure. The flowing water over the dark rock is really interesting. I agree that if you are going to crop the original shot I would really focus on the falls as Pierre has suggested.   Posted: 03/13/2019 10:05:59
