About the Image(s)

My image this month was taken at our local wetlands last spring in the early morning during nesting season-two great egrets. The image was edited in RAW, cropped, color balance adjusted, dodged, color enhancement on the beak-eyes and lores, highlights lightened, spotted, sharpened and a vignette added.

A big improvement on the original, and well done on getting rid of the extra bird on the right. The egrets stand out from the background and tell a great nature story.   Posted: 10/06/2019 12:03:16

Wow factor! These birds are so elegant! Wonderful capture of these 2 birds very close together with very nice display of their feathers. Nice work in removing the bird on the right side (was pretty close). Good work in recreating an image behind it. I think that I would like it a little brighter.
Great creation.   Posted: 10/06/2019 12:42:56

What can I say Candy other than great shot and even better processing, extremely well done.   Posted: 10/06/2019 17:32:08

Good eye with the crop -- it is a lovely composition Candy. The foreground image (subject) looks a tiny bit dark to me but adding brightness would have to be done carefully to not blow out the whites.   Posted: 10/06/2019 18:39:34

What a beautiful soft composition. What fantastic lines their bodies create. I agree with Dean, it seems a bit gray to me. Really a winner!   Posted: 10/08/2019 19:41:29
