Lovely soft bokeh; the subject is well defined and striking. I like the different orientations that are presented in this image.   Posted: 10/06/2018 20:03:19

Hi Pierre, I'm wondering why you shot with such a long lens? It is a nice, delicate photo. I am bothered at the bottom of the photo, where the leaf and bud are cut off. Do you have just a bit more stem to add to the crop? I think it would make an almost perfect shot!

I think you could crop a tad from the top of the pic, if you wanted.   Posted: 10/12/2018 20:36:56

Pierre, You have presented a beautiful image with nice flowing lines. The lower blossom anchors the image. Red and green always work well together. The whites have good detail and the background is nicely blurred. To my knowledge the f stop does not change on a cropped sensor. I have always used Olympus cameras with 2x crop factor and have never heard or found that the f stop is also 2x.   Posted: 10/13/2018 22:17:51

Well done on the focus of multiple blossoms...blurred back ground highlights the flowers. Neato!!   Posted: 10/13/2018 23:23:54

Pierre, I love the color palette presented here with the pinks against the gorgeous green background. Composition is spot on especially with the slight tilt to the right. The 400 mm lens has helped to create a background without any distractions.   Posted: 10/16/2018 10:24:25

Thank you all for these very nice comments.
In respect to the f stop on micro 4/3: I read several articles about it - simple physics.   Posted: 10/16/2018 10:52:02
