About the Image(s)

This view was taken last spring in my honey bee hive using my Lumix with the 3D lens by Dr T.
The girls were busy cleaning where I had cut some comb. They are very hard to photograph because they infrequently stop moving. Usually they are wingless bodies but this view I was lucky.

You've exposed it quite well, capturing the veins in their wings. The blur is not directional, and includes the surface behind the bees, so probably due to being slightly too far away for the lens mod rather than movement. Also, there is side banding in your anaglyph that could be trimmed out. Still an excellent capture with lots of depth.   Posted: 05/11/2022 10:29:20

Very inviting image if you like honey and are not afraid of bees. A little out of focus though. My dad had bee hives until the town where he lived outlawed bees in town. I don't remember seeing his honey combs as the combs were all in the hive and only the top was shown. There were plenty of bees though. This is a good 3D perspective where you can see the comb, the actual honey and the bees guarding it. I like the image.   Posted: 05/16/2022 12:39:48

A good image of honey comb and bees. The image has good depth. Even though the veins in the wings are visible, the image is a little out of focus. To me, it looks there is slight window violation, which can be corrected.   Posted: 05/26/2022 12:26:38

Nice image, too bad the focus is so soft.   Posted: 05/26/2022 15:01:10

Good stereo of the bees but it is a pity that it is out of focus or their was movement blur   Posted: 05/26/2022 15:25:29

It really is too bad the image has a soft focus but I can understand the difficulty when the subjects are so busy as a bee. Nice composition with the bees on the right and facing back into the image. And overall the exposure is good. Thank you, Betty, for supporting the honey bees!   Posted: 05/27/2022 00:56:10
