About the Image(s)

Pepper is my all time favorite dog, a very sweet possibly boxer-pit mix, brindled head to toe. We got her from the Long Beach Animal Shelter when she was 3 months old. She's 10 years old now in this recent shot. If you'd like to see a phantogram of her as a puppy, check out http://3ddigitalphoto.com/ImageofTheWeek.asp?week=03-05-2011.

This shot is not a phantogram. I took it indoors at night in low light, her face partially lit by a lamp above on the left. It was shot with a Fuji W3 stereo camera with no flash. It was aligned with StereoPhoto Maker, and worked and cropped in Photoshop.

Barry, I am an animal lover; therefore, I really like your stereo dog picture. The side light works very well; Her nose is in front of the window and I don't mind that.   Posted: 04/09/2021 12:28:06

Real nice animal image. I'd like a little less window violation personally. As a youngster we had dogs and cats and even some hamsters. But a gold fish is the only kind of "pet" my wife will allow so I gave up on the friendship of Gods creatures.   Posted: 04/12/2021 20:37:09

I am a fan of the negative space. I'd first had the image aligned with SPM, and then cropped it. I suppose to avoid a window violation I'd need to again have it aligned after the crop. Just did so, and it slid it over 13 pixels. Even so I like the one I presented more than the corrected one despite the window violation.   Posted: 04/13/2021 13:09:22

Very good image of Pepper. The image has good depth. The image is sharp. The slide light works well. May be you can try a little correction of shadows. There is a mild window violation.   Posted: 04/22/2021 10:58:16
