About the Image(s)

The gourd was purchased at a roadside stand that also sells pumpkins. It is about one foot long. The original was shot on my kitchen counter; It was placed into an alpha channel in Photoshop. Two more copies were made and spaced 120 Degrees apart to form the drone against a sky background.

Wow, I didn't know gourds could fly and it looks like a space invasion from another world. Interesting job, but parts of the image look good in the cross eyed pair and other parts look good in the parallel view. When I look at it with 3D glasses, the gourd and the left arm and upper arm look good cross-eyed and the clouds and right arm look good in parallel view. Maybe with a little more work this will be awesome.   Posted: 11/06/2020 18:28:28

David, the center piece of the drone came from only one of the gourds. it was not stacked.   Posted: 11/09/2020 12:06:06

Interesting image. The gourds and sky is separated nicely and gourds are coming to the viewer. The 3D effect of gourds looks better with cross eye in the parallel image. It seems you might have flipped the gourds. Please check.   Posted: 11/19/2020 12:31:23

I can only view with the anaglyph and that is impressive with the gourds coming out of the image which is very dramatic   Posted: 11/19/2020 16:01:02

You sure have a creative mind! I would never have thought of this composition by looking at gourds at a stand. The gourds stand out very well for me in 3D. The coloring is good and the gourd details are sharp and distinct. Nice.   Posted: 11/28/2020 22:44:13

Good depth in the clouds, and in the gourds, and the relation of the gourds to the clouds works fine. But the center of the gourd composite has considerable rivalry. Also, the shadows on the gourd make the overall lighting mismatched.   Posted: 11/29/2020 17:50:36
