About the Image(s)

Another shot from my Spanish trip last October. I have hardly used the camera since then due mainly to Covid. It was a church in the back streets that had every wall, and its ceiling painted. It was over powering in my opinion but worth recording. It was sequential so the problem was people walking around, so I have had to move people around as if they had been standing still. Taken on my D850 1/100th at f5 and with 10000iso.

Yes - over powering. Your image shows the magnificence of the simple chaple. One can see how it used to take many many years to build a church like this. It is hard to move people around that moved when taking a "cha-cha" shot and not have the area around them look like a flat cardboard cut out in the 3D of the rest of the picture.   Posted: 10/09/2020 14:08:46

Brian, What a great subject. The reflection on the shiny floor is outstanding. It gives the picture a lot of depth. The many different colors in the church help make the picture. The work you did on the people, came out very good, as they seem natural to me.   Posted: 10/11/2020 15:18:02

Beautiful image of the church hall. The image has nice depth. The image is colorful. I feel some foggy look. This can be corrected by levels, saturation, vibrance and shadow/highlight adjustments. A quick trial is given below (L-R view)   Posted: 10/20/2020 01:45:31
