About the Image(s)

Two years ago, we visited Longwood Gardens in southeastern Pennsylvania. This is a fantastic, huge garden and well worth the visit. The sun was getting low and as I was walking back to the exit and parking lot, I saw this shadow from the bench.

This was taken with my Fuji W3. I used Shadows/Highlights to bring out some of the shadowy background and bumped the color a tad.

Very nice. I liked the composition. The image, to me, looks sharp, colorful with good lighting. The shadow of the chair gives add to the composition. Well done.   Posted: 11/10/2019 08:49:51

Boy, the long shadow sure has effect in this image along with the warm evening colors. I like it. Makes me feel like it's time to go home for the evening.   Posted: 11/13/2019 21:31:58

The bench shadow does make this picture; along with the beautiful colors and nice depth of field. well done.   Posted: 11/21/2019 11:28:45

It is the shadows that are the main interest in this and lefts it from just a record of two benches to a pictorial image. The sun was definitely very low when this was taken   Posted: 11/22/2019 16:51:48

Everything is balanced. The juxtaposition of the benches and shadow are interesting. My eye rolls through the image like a bouncing ball.   Posted: 11/29/2019 14:08:52
