Very interesting butterfly on a leaf all in good 3D. The odd shadow on the right of the wings in the right image and on the left of the wings in the left image is a problem with the W3's flash being right in the middle of the two lenses. I don't know how to not get this affect, accept to not use the W3 flash. I some how think an appropriate location for a flash with the W3 ought be up above the lenses and way back behind the camera, so the shadow would more in the same place on the leaf in both images. When I get a good image with these annoying shadows, I try to remove the shadows by lightening those areas in photoshop.   Posted: 09/10/2019 13:02:55

I like butterfly views; the shadows are a problem with the W3. It is still a good view, in my opinion.   Posted: 09/11/2019 09:21:24

I agree this is an excellent image. Good color and composition. I barely noticed the shadow mismatch because the right eye shadow is not as dark. I was slightly distracted by the thinness of the wing. It almost looked like the 'cutout' effect, but it's really the true nature of the subject. A slightly different angle would have eliminated the distraction by adding depth to the wing.   Posted: 09/15/2019 02:12:05

Very nice image of the butterfly. The image is very sharp. I liked the composition. I too feel that the butterfly has a cutout look. The texture of the leaf is very clear with good depth.   Posted: 09/16/2019 13:27:07
