About the Image(s)

I took this photo at Ruby Beach, Olympic National Park, Washington, this past July. It was a very foggy morning and there was a steady flow of morning walkers at the waters edge. I liked the peaceful, quiet feeling that the scene was creating and the reflections on the wet sand. This was taken with the Fuji W3.

Lots of mystique with the hazy rocks in the background. It is well composed with the people off center a tad and the white dog to balance them.   Posted: 10/01/2018 19:52:32

Yes an image that had atmosphere and made so much more effective with the mist. The girl in pink also attracts the eye into your main group which is good. I think that a crop across the bottom to take off some of that rather uninteresting beach would improve the impact of the image as the group is very central vertically.   Posted: 10/09/2018 15:55:09

You have done a good job of capturing the mountains even with a heavy haze. The people are placed nicely in the frame and the red outfit attracts the attention.   Posted: 10/16/2018 11:54:34

I liked the mood and composition. The girl in pink dress is a good point of interest and the white dog balances the view. I think some portion of the bottom area can be cropped.   Posted: 10/25/2018 08:02:45
