About the Image(s)
Saw these jet contrails high above us and decided there was an infrared image here. The image is supposed to depict lines and textures in a random array. My trusty D300 was used. 18mm focal length. ISO 200 1/60th second at f11.

Gary - Contrails can be really annoying in landscape work, but you show how to turn them into a compelling composition in this wonderful image. Your excellent processing really brings out the contrast between the blacks and whites.   Posted: 03/01/2023 16:24:49
Hi Gary
A fabulous picture of contrails, which has been captured and handled beautifully. Post-processing just as great. Full marks!   Posted: 03/01/2023 23:51:45

Hi. Artists create art out of the mundane. You've done that here. Nicely seen, captured, and processed picture.   Posted: 03/02/2023 07:44:18
This reminds me of Melanie's image this month; whimsical! I know I've contemplated images like this, but rarely take one. You've done a good job composing it, with the repeating lines, the criss-crossing, and the unfinished line at left. And we agree on the contrast on this one, too, very nice.   Posted: 03/05/2023 11:56:11

Photographers should always look up when in the field shooting and you did. Well conceived as captured and processed...

Hi Gary,
Such a simple image that is captured so well. Processing is great, and the graphic quality is a bonus.   Posted: 03/08/2023 16:42:38
