About the Image(s)
The structure is part of Canberra’s National Museum which is located outside the entrance to the building. I quite like the way its constructed with a few trees alongside the base. Picture taken with the converted IR Canon 40D.
Workflow: Image converted into B&W using Nik’s Silver Efex Pro 2 Fine Art Process filter. Having cloned out certain areas, I decided on square composition. Adjusted contrast using black and white pointers in Levels. Took the image back into Nik’s Color Efex Pro 2 and subsequently applied Darken / Lighten Center, followed by Graduated Filter preset “Coffee”… blended suitably. The idea was to give the tip of the structure a kind of focal point with a little spill on both sides. Would welcome your comments!

Brilliant post-processing in my view, and the novel addition of the Color Efex graduated 'coffee' is superb...what a nice accent and addition of impact.
My only suggestion on the image overall is that I'd have appreciated seeing a bit more base...it seems a bit cramped at the bottom.   Posted: 02/03/2021 17:36:00
This group always invents new ways to process IR and this is another clever way to add tone to our processing
Well done

Such a smart way to convert this! Well done! We are so conditioned to have clouds in our IR image and here the bald sky is a perfect foil for the structure. Pity about the base, but it is what it is and I can manage without it.

Can't say enough about our friendly group and the positive/constructive remarks that I always get! Much appreciated.
Stay safe and well.
