Hi Emil,

Great place to be and to use IR. I simply added a dash of contrast and the Darken/Lighten Center filter from Nik Color Efex with this and added what I believe to be a bit more 'drama' to the scene. See if you agree.   Posted: 08/02/2019 10:40:07

Hi Emil
Lovely mountainous landscape with those sweeping clouds as you've portrayed. Nice viewpoint too, and the composition.
Here, I'm inclined to agree with Gary's suggestion to create a bit more drama.   Posted: 08/06/2019 01:59:51

Hi Emil, A lovely, tranquil scene, most suited to IR, especially with the gorgeous sky. For me the tones throughout are fairly similar and I would add some contrast mostly in the cloud area to make them pop.   Posted: 08/12/2019 10:21:36

I agree with the others comments that a bit more contrast might add some needed drama here. With the absence of a point of interest, or a place for the eye to land, the clouds for me become the dominant subject, with their beautiful repeating shapes as clouds often do.   Posted: 08/16/2019 16:00:28

You inspire me to use IR more often for landscape photography. Because of the tonality that is possible with IR, as you demonstrate in this image, work reminiscent of Adams or Weston can be achieved. Waiting for the right cloud formations is essential. Your post processing brought out the clouds nicely.   Posted: 08/17/2019 15:34:47
