Hi Ernie,

Whatever you did to the sky...it's magical. I like this scene/image very much...great lead down the street to the cathedral. Good blacks and contrast. I have nothing to say to improve it...well done.   Posted: 08/02/2019 10:23:11

Hi Ernie
You've done a terrific job in portraying the street scene in IR. Addition of clouds is a fine touch.
On a minor point though ... Is it possible to avoid the fringing that has resulted when adding the sky. Perhaps feathering the selection by 2 to 3 pixels may help!
A fine shot, nonetheless.

Ernie, what an exceptional translation from the original image. Deleting the humans draws more attention to the geometric shapes and lines. Did you paste in another sky? Even with f/4.5, the 15mm lens gave you great depth of field. Did you use a tripod?   Posted: 08/06/2019 17:34:06

Ernie,
The detail that you have managed to extract from your image is extraordinary. Fantastic. There is a graphic quality within all the textures. I am drawn in right down the alley...and I want to go! I do not care for your sky. I think it competes with the magic in the rest of the image.   Posted: 08/11/2019 16:23:58

I would have to echo Melanie's comments entirely Ernie. I'm highly impressed by the tonalities you've managed to bring out, the textures, just beautiful and so well done. Even the slanting black line which my mind wants to see as horizontal still works, just adds to the edginess of this. Unfortunately the sky looks like it was added in, and detracts from the gritty reality of the rest of the image.   Posted: 08/16/2019 15:44:58
