A very nice capture, the detail in the egret is great. The feathers the shadows in the contours of the feathers, the eyes and detail of the head. The vegetation has significant detail. Very good for a 280mm lens at f/5.6 to have this much depth of field out in front of the bird. This seems to give the image a feeling of depth.   Posted: 11/08/2019 20:26:43

The detail in the subject bird and the wide value range make this an exquisite image. The dark background and foreground complete the isolation (in a good way) of the subject. Nicely done.   Posted: 11/10/2019 08:02:54

Don, captured this bird quite nicely and the tonality is beautiful. It is sharp and clear with everything supporting the bird nicely. Well done.   Posted: 11/10/2019 13:01:26

I think this is a fine example of how a bird image should look, great detail with fine exposure and focus.   Posted: 11/11/2019 06:42:15
