Nice subject and well presented with nice contrast between the subject and the background. Good composition. Sharp.   Posted: 11/05/2020 18:22:34

Hi Barbara: Composition is well thought out and I like the overall warm color tones which make this image inviting. The textured background renders a more formal approach to the rose picture. Sharp detail on the rose flower and also the leaves.   Posted: 11/07/2020 09:46:50

Hi Barbara, A good use of contrasting colors, the orange rose against the brown mottled background works very well. The composition is nice in that you included the stem with the bright orange flowers. The textures you have been using are an asset to your photographic compositions.   Posted: 11/13/2020 12:25:37

BARBARA,
EVERYONES COMMENTS ARE RIGHT ON..COLORS WORK TOGETHER WELL.
COMPOSITION IS GOOD, THE STEM MAKING A DIAGONIAL LINE ADDS TO YOUR COMPOSTION, ADDING A BACKGROUN DOES REQUIRE CONSIDERABLE WORK, SO I SALUTE YOU FOR THAT, ITS NOT MY CUP OF TEA BUT IT WORKS WELL, NOT REALLY OVERDONE AS I HAVE SEEN MANY TIMES.

SUGESTION, WHILE DOING THAT IN POST HOW ABOUT LOOKING FOR THOSE LITTLE THINGS TO CLEAN UP, LIKE THE BLACK DIRT ON THE PETALS.
AND MAYBE TURN THE FLOWER SO WE COULD SEE MORE OF THE HEART OF THE PETALS.
BUT AS USUAL YOU DO NICE WORK!!
