Hi Dan, pretty good detail good separation with bokeh. The only little thing I would attempt is darkening the white spot behind the bee. Good photo.   Posted: 09/04/2019 07:06:27

Pat, I will give it a try. I was wondering if leaving it this way because it helps to bring out the contrast of the bees body the way the flower does? Thank you Dan   Posted: 09/04/2019 07:23:17

Hi Dan: A good subject with fine sharpness on the bee. The light green background sets a nice mood for this picture. Pat makes a good point in toning down the background in back of the bee; it may be difficult to do without darkening the white flower stamens, but as you say give it a try   Posted: 09/05/2019 09:06:09

Greetings Dan, Great focus on the bee itself. The soft green background is complementary. The cropped composition is also well done. As for the background directly behind the bee, I think it might be a challenge in post processing. The image looks good, to me, as is.   Posted: 09/12/2019 17:35:50

Dan, I like your composition and my eyes kept moving from the the delicate beautiful flower on the left side to the sharp bee on the right, one subject complementing the other--no conflict. The colors of the subjects are soft and pleasant to the eye, nicely merging into the background. Good job.   Posted: 09/12/2019 21:42:13
