This was from a spring excursion at a local green house with the camera club. Not much post processing. Toned down the highlights slightly.

Hi Pat: A very soft and dreamy presentation. The lighting in most greenhouses is diffused and that situation worked well in your flower portrait. Good example of selective focus, just the center of the flower is in sharp focus.   Posted: 06/10/2018 00:38:14

Hi Pat, Good title for your photo as the center of the flower truly does glow. The center is very sharp and the focus fades as the eye moves outward. A very effective technique.   Posted: 06/17/2018 13:42:55

wow, stunning! Love the angle and the sharpness in the center and the colors. the selective focus is great.

The only thing that I can think to improve it would be to have placed another flower lower bottom left to get rid of the green -- or flip photo and do that in post...   Posted: 06/21/2018 02:05:16
