About the Image(s)
How I Did It: This week-end I visited a "Collector's Farm". Lots of old buildings fulled with stuff; furniture, weird, rusty items, a small but nice garden, etc. There was an old farm truck parked on the property. (See Group 9) It had a large tank on the back of the cab. The tank looked as if it may have been used for chemicals to spray fields. (??) I photographed the entire truck but began to look for small parts of interest for this Group. This part served as an attachment of the tank to the bottom of the truck.
Post processed with NIK Detail Extractor, clone tool to remove a branch of old leaves in the lower right corner, adjusted the shadow slider under Light and Dark in Photoshop Elements and cropped along the left side of the frame.
Camera settings: f8, 1/200 sec., ISO 400

I think that this is a good subject, needs to be sharper, practice your depth of field, your camera angle was not parallel camera sensor to subject. Also a polarizer would have helped with the glare.
Your time of day was tough, I often carry a diffuser for days and subjects like this, fold up small in your pocket and pops open to diffuse the sun.
Try Topaz Glow autoshine -- works well with rusty things...
