About the Image(s)

When I saw this little old lady up in her home looking out on the world; I just want to get a photo of what I was seeing. Her smile make her beautiful, she was framed by the window and plants. I used a Canon ESO 5D mark IV, f/4, 1/2000 sec., ISO-200, Focal Length 95 mm. I only cropped and resized the Image.

Can I assume this is another image from your trip to Cuba?

Another nice image of someone watching the world go by from their balcony. I'm not someone who generally likes to make crops quite as extreme as you have made here. As I print a lot of images, I tend to want to preserve pixels as much as possible, but will crop to fit the size of the paper I am printing on.

In terms of the edit itself, I find the light reflecting off the leaves a bit hot and always carry a polarizing filter in my camera bag so that I can reduce that issue while shooting. Fixing it in post is also possible, but not as elegant. A luminosity mask does wonders in this situation.   Posted: 02/01/2021 13:27:44

Another great shot of street life. There is wonderful joy on her face. Your subject pops well from the background.   Posted: 02/22/2021 07:31:25
