About the Image(s)

This is a natural light model shoot of Jennifer that was taken at the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario, in Smiths Falls, Canada. We had made arrangements to shoot after the museum had closed, so there were about 11 of us on site shooting with 3 different models. The shoot was took
place during the late afternoon through early evening, with the sun popping in and out of the clouds. I hadn't done an outdoor shoot like this in about 10 months and I was concerned about being a bit rusty, but
am generally pleased with the results. I've started experimenting with a workflow that uses the L*a*b* colour space for all the edits with conversion to sRGB as the final step.

I like the curve of the model and the way she has her hands. I think the light is good and not hard. I like how the hand bag and the blue thing are going in the same direction. I think you did a great job. I like the color contrast of Purple and yellow. Beautiful photo!   Posted: 09/07/2019 17:47:32

You did a good job of taking care of details. The hat, lipstick and handbag all match. Jennifer's expression and pose are nice and the lighting is perfect.   Posted: 09/13/2019 17:31:02

Excelent image, very well clipped and lot of detail and good colors.
Model seems experimented, fashion pose made without effort.
One thing to speak about is the distance at the background, because the focus and yellow lines, especially the one at the top, seem to me in hard competence with the model.   Posted: 09/21/2019 05:03:24

Very nice image. You did an excellent job controlling the natural light since it contours her face perfectly. The pose is great and the color coordination works. Great job, Manfred.   Posted: 09/24/2019 22:31:43
