About the Image(s)

Camera: Canon 60D
Lens: Canon 30mm-80mm Zoom
Focal Length: 55mm
Exposure : 1/100 sec, f/7.1, ISO 100, Manual Exposure

This is Jessica, a local model shot as a tight portrait in studio. Two large soft box light modifiers were used on White Lightning strobes against a white seamless background. Very little post processing was accomplished - a couple minor blemishes and routine sharpening with Photoshop’s UnMask Mask @ 30% setting.

Very good lighting.   Posted: 03/11/2019 20:49:14

Jessica is a pretty model and her makeup is well done. The lights are well positioned. I know that everyone has a different opinion on the subject, but I would smooth out her skin. To me she looks blotchy (if that's a word). I'd also whiten her eyes and adjust the contrast to add some pop. She also has an orange to her and I'd work on the hue and saturation.   Posted: 03/23/2019 10:42:32

The model has a tan (photo taken in August) and I do not see the "orange" on my iMac computer screen, my MacBook Pro, or on my iPad that both you and Salvador report. The tan skin looks normal on my end.   Posted: 03/25/2019 18:43:19

Good portrait, the viewer receive an innocent image from the model.
The left leaned hed and the tiny white line over her lips transmite a not prepared pose.
I agree with Jim about the orange dominant color.

Another nice image Dave.

Does she look tanned; yes. Are the tanned areas distracting; no. You have a real human being here and she is not a plastic doll, so it works. That being said, I too find the skin tones a touch on the warm side for my personal taste. I tend to go a bit warm with my portraits too.
