Hi Diane, you've captured the game scene very well. But personally, I find your very tight cropping disturbing. If there was more space to the right of the catching hand of the player in blue and the three feet in the foreground were completely visible in the picture, I would like it better.   Posted: 08/01/2020 09:08:01

I really wish I had those feet, too!   Posted: 08/03/2020 14:38:22

Hi Diane, there is nothing you can do afterwards if the feet are no longer in the picture, but I like your original photo better than your photo with the cutout   Posted: 08/03/2020 14:53:10

As a former sports photographer shooting for several local colleges I think this is a great shot. Depending on how it is to be used--I would crop even more. Perhaps just above the knees. That flying elbow, the look on the face of the player getting hit and the intensity of the eyes of the player in the dark jersey makes this powerful. If the deep crop can be made without losing quality then by all means go for it.

Most of my editors really liked several tights shots with drama and I think this one would qualify.   Posted: 08/04/2020 17:04:05
