About the Image(s)

The royal gallery in Oostende (Belgium) was built in the 19th century by King Leopold II. He was a great lover of the coast and did a lot of construction work.

Daniel, great DOF and sharp front to back. The upper part of the columns (orange color) acts as a strong leading line to the back and straight to the human component which enhances the image and gives dimension   Posted: 01/04/2021 19:49:45

Daniel.. great use of perspective and diminishing scale. Post processing is spot on with true verticals. The geometric tiled floor adds interest to the bottom on the image as well as the saffron yellow which carries the eye to the top of the frame. As humans we relate to the man in the pathway and can imagine ourselves in his place. Perhaps a lil crop to the base edge of the left pillar to provide a cleaner edge to the bottom of the image. Good capture.   Posted: 01/19/2021 07:00:21

Will this person ever reach the end or is this infinity? You captured the seemingly endlessness of the gallery with a combination of well-balanced perspective and the bright orange colors. I agree with Gloria that a slight crop would eliminate what to me was a little distracting (the markings on the wooden column). B   Posted: 01/24/2021 18:33:26

Like Isaac, I appreciate the depth of field of the image and the orange color of the pillars that guide your gaze deep into the image. Indeed, Gloria remarked well that a tighter crop would be better, it would highlight a better focus on the person captured in the image. Nice picture   Posted: 01/25/2021 03:07:24

a great use for the repetitive columns, which, beside the orange color and the natural lighting are combining to make a strong composition and attractive view. I liked the geometric shapes on the ground which i see it playing a nice role in the while picture.   Posted: 01/25/2021 06:12:59
