Jim, the first base guy is bare hands and barefoot, nothing to compare with today's outfits and equipment. Peak of action with the player running towards first base and the ball is on his way as well being slightly blurry denoting movement. The light is soft (cloudy day). I added a little light to the shadows and cropped it just a bit.   Posted: 08/13/2019 05:10:20

There is a lot going on, full of action. I like very much that all persons are free standing. The crop from Isaac give more power.   Posted: 08/15/2019 05:07:19

Jim, I like the casualness and vintage feel of your image. Nice capture to get the ball and the outstretched hands of the man in the foreground. I really like the woman in the hoop skirt which adds depth and draws me to the very back - the fact that she's different from the rest is what makes this interesting to me.   Posted: 08/19/2019 14:47:31

Interesting and rare to see. The action and movements there are really nice with the all eyes are looking at the same target, the ball. The crop of Isaac is good idea as it removes unwanted areas and a little tilt is good to make the line of ground in the back looks strait.

Super great image that pulls me in with excitement. There is a lot to like first being baseball, the vintage attire, the outstretched hands and motion and a softness all making for a great capture.   Posted: 08/27/2019 12:56:24
