About the Image(s)

Image made from across the street at these settings in “burst” mode -.1/1250sec, f/6.3, ISO 200, 240mm. I waited across the street for pedestrians to pass by so I could get a clean shot of this woman. Imagine my surprise when my last shot revealed that someone had quickly and quietly given her $20 without a word. In photoshop, I straightened and cropped “ added contrast and added a vignette.

Gloria, you captured the image at the right moment when she looks mesmerized with the Canadian $ 20 bill, she probably was not expecting it. Difficult light situation with brights and dark's (shadows) probably near or around noon time since the bright areas are on her head and arms. Good color rendition, sharp, well placed in the frame, however; I think the tree at the edge is taking prevalence over the woman. I cropped it and now she takes over and well framed without being overwhelmed. I fixed the white stroke.   Posted: 08/06/2019 18:00:14

Great candid shot. The poor girl looks like she has never seen a $20 bill before. I like Isaac's crop.   Posted: 08/12/2019 04:06:57

Very nice street-shot . Good story. This picture illustrates again how nice a square photo can be. A prefer also the crop from Isaac.   Posted: 08/15/2019 05:14:01
