About the Image(s)

A few weeks ago I found one of my wifes, Rose blooming, thought it would make a nice photo.
Shot with my Olympus EM1x, with the 60 mm macro lens, used in-camera focus stacking.
Shot at 1/100 sec at f/ 2.8 ISO 200
Edited with Lightroom and Photoshop.

I love the detail in the rose and think it was a great idea to saturate the color. I also like the definition you achieved on the water droplets. Working on a similar water droplet piece myself, but with a leaf. Nicely done.   Posted: 06/11/2020 13:44:59

Wonderful, crisp shot with wonderful color and details. I like the water droplets and the black background very much. I wouldn't change a thing.   Posted: 06/14/2020 20:21:58

Beautiful image to begin with but I like the edits you made. My camera does not make in-camera focus stacking -- it sounds like a great advantage. The image would make a great greeting card.   Posted: 06/15/2020 15:21:50

Hi Nelson - beautifully done. I love the colour and the beautifully sharp water droplets. It all works well with the darkened background.   Posted: 06/21/2020 17:14:28
