About the Image(s)

This is straight out of camera (except for the crop). I went to a new botanical garden and came across this plant. I always love catching a leaf as it is uning. I loved the color and the lines the plant created. I am planning on post processing, but would love your thoughts before I start.

The colors on this are incredible, pink - purple - green - blue. I love these colors.

My suggestion is to crop some from the right side. At the bottom there is a dark blob that is distracting and along the upper right edge there's a bit of light that draws the eye. I can't wait to see how you process it.   Posted: 11/03/2019 17:53:12

You have nice lines and subtle colors in this image. I like it very much. I agree with Laurie to crop in on the right.   Posted: 11/11/2019 11:28:16

I really like the colors, and like the way, the lines go. I would bring down the highlights a bit and add some clarity.   Posted: 11/20/2019 09:55:00

Hi Jessica. I love the colours in this image, and the directional lines. I also like the dimension you have captured. The only thing I feel that would improve it is, as Laurie mentioned, removing the dark area on the lower right.   Posted: 11/26/2019 19:12:42
