About the Image(s)
90mm, F/6.3, 1/250sec, ISO 400
I took this shot at a birthday party. The family were wanting artistic shots with details of the food and drink to make into a photo book.
The room was lit only with candles, so it wasn't the easiest photo assignment!
I haven't done much to the image other than adjusting the exposure slightly, and adding a LUT to enhance the glow. I'm interested to see what you think of the grain. I have left it in as I quite like the clarity of the glassware. Do you feel it is distracting?
Thanks in advance for your comments.

I am a fan of dark images. The highlights on the glasses are very nice and the golden and orange tones are lovely. I would suggesting making it slightly lighter, if possible and cropping some off the left side (closer to the candle).   Posted: 10/11/2019 11:19:20
Lovely image, but I would make it a little brighter or a little darker. Right now it frustrates the viewer. I am trying to see more. The grain does not bother me.   Posted: 10/14/2019 15:00:24
I like the colors and the grain of this a lot. I think it would be better with just the 2 identifiable glasses in the front. I spent a minute looking at this before realizing I was looking at glasses. Maybe that works for this though.   Posted: 10/17/2019 13:06:58

Pulling off dark images is really hard, because they often look grainy, but you did an excellent job. You haven't compromised the subject in any way. I wouldn't crop it. I think it makes it more mysterious.   Posted: 10/20/2019 06:11:17

Very nice shot. I didn't even notice the grain.
I would crop a bit off from the right. Maybe try and bring the blacks out a little.   Posted: 10/27/2019 12:47:15
