About the Image(s)
This image is of a table in my office off the living room. In post-processing, I remove the corner of the desk on the lower right and cleaned up light reflections where possible. I used Topaz impressions 2 to add an art effect and applied a mask to remove some of the effect from the actual framed picture and daisies. Then I applied two textures from CC texture pro, using the soft light blending mode. This is a picture of my daughter, and our first grandchild.
I used my Olympus E M10mark II with a 12-35 lens. Settings: 1/5 f2.8 at ISO 400. Thought I might take this again with a lower ISO and faster speed. It was dark that day but my office opens out to a large 20’ window of west light so a second try might be better.

There is enough detail in the photo while the flowers have a soft pastel appearance to them.
the lighting is very good.   Posted: 07/09/2017 08:13:28
I love how you softened the image and gave it a filtered yellow light to enhance the dreamy look.
The painterly background really supports the main subjects of flowers and photo without distracting.
It has a Vermeer-like quality that I find very compelling.
I also really like your floating frame with the gold that sets the photo apart from the background.
