In my opinion the emotional impact of this image is just outstanding. I think the contrast of the multiple lines and angles with the photographer is perfect. To me it gives a perspective that would be lost without the human touch. I like that you kept the color of the rails and photographer. For me the lines leading into the dark obis hint of a foreboding future. To my eye the focus is sharp and the exposure is spot on. Well done. Would love to see a shot with a beautiful model in a bright colored outfit ascending OUT of the darkness. (Just food for thought.)   Posted: 05/15/2020 14:40:53

A great place for a photo shoot. The wooden hand railing gives the image a logical perspective and balance. Without out it the many faceted walls and stairs would be disorienting. Colors and exposure are very good. the lady pulls it all together. I agree with Kurtis about the model.   Posted: 05/15/2020 19:38:19

I really like this shot you have leading lines and various shapes that all lead back to the staircase. The composition, exposure, color balance are right on and the model is perfect. Did you know the photographer?   Posted: 05/17/2020 10:30:34

The leading lines with the descending steps and descending contrasting wooden handrails plus the photographer descending with one foot extended create a sense of motion that gives life to this awesome image of sharp angles and multifaceted walls and stairs. Very impressive!   Posted: 05/19/2020 14:11:25

I love this shot! Most interesting and complex. The rails do provide some orientation and pull your eyes through the image. The way the rails approach each other offers nice perspective. I tried the image in black and white but didn't think it looked as good. Well done!   Posted: 05/20/2020 06:14:57
