About the Image(s)

This is from my trip to Iowa. There is a brewery that we stopped at in Potosi Wisconsin that used to make Holiday Beer. They get their artesian water from the hill they were dug in to. They actually are one of the oldest breweries in Wisconsin, although the business was shut down and the building went into disrepair for a few years. It is now a NON PROFIT organization who donates all proceeds back into the community. This is one of the trucks that was sitting out in the parking lot. LOTS of rain, flooding, but why a great history lesson. there is even a 'door' into the cave that they use for their water. I guess the cave was initially a lead mining place that was abandoned? Not quite sure on that. Anyway here is the image. Taken 9-19-20 at 949 am. 1/125 @ f2.8. ISO 200. With Nikon D700 Nikon lens 17-55 @ 55 mm,
I cropped the image, upped the contrast, added a little vignetting, and then pulled down a dark gradient from the top.

An old car is always a hit! I like the colors and the cropping. It might be a plus to add more dark vignetting and to darken the rear window somewhat. Topaz studio can do creative things with a car photo. I don't know if you have ever tried that plug-in.   Posted: 10/10/2019 12:55:34

Here's an example. Love it or hate it. There are hundreds of presets to choose from.   Posted: 10/10/2019 13:05:37
