I really don't know where to begin to say how much I like this image. To my eye it is sharp, well composed and properly exposed. Every primary color is represented along with it's complimenting color. In my opinion the star of the image is the bumble bee. At every chance I like to have at least two areas of interest. In this image you have three. To me the flowers, bee and Monarch create a feast of colors. My only suggestion would be to try brightening the bumble bee maybe using the radial filter to keep it from being (no pun intended) lost in the image. For me it is too important to be overlooked. Very Nice.   Posted: 08/06/2019 15:26:44

I like the balance of the angle of the flower and the angle of the butterfly. The blue and orange, as opposite sides of the color wheel, provide an additional pleasing effect. Vignetting was a definite plus as was the excellent bokeh. Excellent image!   Posted: 08/07/2019 07:59:50

Beautiful, the flower is tack sharp as well as the bee and the butterfly. The background is bright but nicely defused and supports the subject(s).   Posted: 08/07/2019 18:20:43

Outstanding for all the reasons mentioned. As I sit at my desk writing this, I can look out the big window in front of me to the tall purple porter weed I planted on the other side that attracts monarchs and zebra long wings as well as bees. To me, the butterfly is the star of the show and I like the way it dominates your image.   Posted: 08/10/2019 11:10:19
