Overall enjoyable image. Feel
Something is a bit missing. Maybe just a but lighter/ brighter in the sunset? Lightening the water a little? Not sure.   Posted: 10/23/2018 22:19:15

What a peaceful scene. The muted orange glow leads you right down to the water. I would love to see the the one you shot just after the sun rise, very nice.   Posted: 10/24/2018 03:59:48

Here's the sunrise shot, I was shooting wider at sunrise to get the lake and waves as part of a time-lapse.   Posted: 10/25/2018 15:42:27

I like the balance between positive and negative space. The parallels of the clouds and the sea are also effective. I think cropping out some of the right side might improve the image.   Posted: 10/24/2018 15:54:37

Alec, why would you crop more from the right? What do you think it changes?   Posted: 10/25/2018 15:43:10

BTW: The sunrise shot is spectacular. Love the clouds.   Posted: 10/25/2018 15:49:19

I think it gives a better balance between the dark left side and light right side, but I'm not generally a panorama fan anyway.   Posted: 10/25/2018 15:48:16

Beautiful capture of predawn glow and the contrast between the dark and light, with some light on the water.

I do enjoy panoramas, but I have a sense of too much darkness here. I wonder how it would look if both left and right were cropped a bit?   Posted: 10/26/2018 16:24:27

Fun thing this is full frame and not actually a panorama. :)   Posted: 10/26/2018 16:39:09
