About the Image(s)
Creating this image was relatively straight forward except for one of the rocks in Mono lake that was a distraction. After many attempts at cloning it away I ended up taking a 4th image to paste in. I had to adjust the lighting some to have it match the other sunset

Fabulous image!
Very clean and powerful. Your placement of the Mono Lake fragment is perfect, with that star-sun right in position of his eye. The bright gold horizon contrasting with the black hills leads me right to the head. The silhouette of the rocks forms a great suggestion of his face.
Personally, I might consider trimming a bit off the right, though I think your composition also works well.   Posted: 03/02/2019 19:42:38

Peggy, Thanks for the feedback. I'll play around with the cropping to see how it looks.   Posted: 03/02/2019 20:29:08

I agree with the above. If you trim a little off of our right (the man's left) you will be more in keeping with the rule of thirds without harming this wonderful image.   Posted: 03/05/2019 14:31:48
