About the Image(s)
I shot this image with my Canon Power Shot SX10IS during an October 2019 cruise down the Danube. It was my last trip before the impositions of the virus. Sadly I was ill and missed a lot of photo ops. I was fortunate to take this image from the window of my stateroom during a stop at Linz, Austria. Post-editing I used Elements to enhance the clouds, reduce noise, crop out irrelevant items, and eliminate distractions. I liked the sculpture in the foreground and decided to include it. Comments?

Dan, I like what you did with one tower. I would like to redo this trip. I missed so much.   Posted: 02/08/2021 22:36:55
This is a busy image. The bottom portion is distracting, with the sculpture and all the posts. It doesn't add anything either so I'd eliminate it. You could crop to have the three towers, but the scaffolding is unfortunate. It still has interesting lines, though, so would be worth playing with. Maybe monochrome with a dramatic sky?   Posted: 02/09/2021 08:13:28
That's much stronger than the original version! Even with the scaffolding, there's an interesting contrasts of shapes with the three towers. And there are no distracting elements.   Posted: 02/10/2021 07:59:03

The crop to emphasize just the tower is a great solution to this image   Posted: 02/16/2021 08:54:22

I feel that there are several photos within this one image and that there's a bit of competition going on between them for the position of primary focus. By virtue of your title, “Three Towers”, you would be best to remove the distracting elements below and focus the viewer's attention on the towers. I have cropped it as you did in your redo, and replaced the sky, added contrast, sharpening and some other tonal adjustments to try and help your subject pop. Thoughts?   Posted: 02/20/2021 13:48:38
