About the Image(s)
I just refound this image taken last year in AK. It was a foggy morning and the sea was flat calm I played with it in silver effects pro and folks liked the result.. but I prefer the original. What say you?
Canon d70 tamron lens probably 70-200

I prefer the original. Each image makes a different statement.   Posted: 02/08/2021 22:34:32

I also prefer the original. I like the subtleness of it. It doesn't pop so isn't an instant 'Wow" image, but it has a wonderful feel that begs the viewer to stop and take it all in.   Posted: 02/09/2021 08:22:54

This is a powerful image, with a great story about the immensity of nature in contrast to how small we are next to it. Really cool.
While both versions have impact, I think the monochrome version is stronger. I don't care for the border and I think the noise introduced takes away a little bit.
Here's a rendition without the border and the noise. Thoughts?   Posted: 02/20/2021 14:45:20
