Oh my this is terrifying. Those eyes!!!! so well focussed..
With the stacking could you make his legs in focus too? Not convinced you should have been close enough to him to get this picture. But it is really exciting.

Typically, when photographing close-up images of spiders (jumping spiders especially), the eyes are the thing! Obviously, your initial reaction to his image was about the spider's eyes. That means Rohan was successful in close-up circles. d;¬{D   Posted: 09/07/2020 16:42:18
really hard for me when the subject is jumping spider. I had lots of bad experiences in past . The most scary thing is when they disappear :D   Posted: 09/07/2020 19:01:17

That makes it even better in my opinion. I don't think I could take 1 good image of a creature this small handheld, let alone several to stack from. Great job. d:¬{D   Posted: 09/17/2020 14:51:06

If I encountered this hairy four eyed critter, I'd head for the hills. The eyes really pop. That being said, wonderful macro.   Posted: 09/16/2020 17:16:29

I'd be heading for the hills along with Rusty. But congrats for staying and getting a great macro. The eyes are amazing.   Posted: 09/17/2020 08:17:17
