About the Image(s)
One day while Goldie was sitting front of me I decided to try portrait mode on my iPhone 12 mini. I was pleased with the results I got. ISO 1000, f/1.6 at 1/30th sec. I did no editing on the image. Goldie was 14 years and 8 months old when she passed away on 3 February 2023. This is one of my favorite memory pictures of my sweet girl. Pam

Goldie's portrait and story makes for a strong image. Your lighting with the catch lights in her eyes is nice. This needs to be printed and framed. The simplistic and minimal approach works. Jerry   Posted: 03/03/2023 06:41:09
What a nice portrait to remember your "sweet girl" by. You captured her eyes beautifully. Lovely!   Posted: 03/03/2023 15:50:45
What a nice portrait. My experience with Golden Retrievers is they are so sweet and gentle. I have to admit that this photo and description got to me. Sorry for your loss. I'm sure you miss her.

I agree with the comments on the portrait. I like the dog posting with it's legs coming from the corner and the eyes
looking away from the camera. Pam, you did a great job with the background, the lighting, and setting the dog in a strong position. Wonderfully done.   Posted: 03/05/2023 12:37:39

What a lovable image. I just to hug her.   Posted: 03/05/2023 18:17:48
Exquisite memorial photograph of Goldie. The white muzzle and face of your aging dog/friend, catchlight in eye and dog's body mostly in shadow makes very impactful photo of Goldie. So sorry for your loss. This photograph is a beautiful tribute to those 14 years and eight months.
