About the Image(s)

The leaves are from American Beech. Cropped in Snapseed, then processed in Touch Retouch and Snapseed HDR. Unreal, but cheerful which is much needed just now.

The editing really brightens up the colors and the eye appeal of the image. The square format seems to work well. Nice.   Posted: 11/06/2020 15:34:02

Yes. We all need cheering up through this Covid-19 times and you sure did it Dick. It is so nice to be in this group.

I'm glad you included the original. What a transformation. Even though the colors are over the top I really like the effect. I have not used the HDR in Snapseed so may need to look in to it. You did well taking a simple subject and making a stunning image.   Posted: 11/07/2020 20:27:47

As Pamela said, it's quite a transformation from the original. The colors are bold and the crop brings the subject closer for the viewer. It's a seasonal theme.

Like your cropping of a few American Beech Tree leaves and interesting how Snapseed picked up and accentuated subdued red and gold color which barely noticeable in original image. Photograph definitely cheerfully spells fall.   Posted: 11/11/2020 12:59:44

Great example of what post processing can do.You've convinced me to look at that HDR move. Thanks.   Posted: 11/16/2020 15:02:26
