About the Image(s)

PEACEFUL: Tourists have left and now can finally walk along the Jersey shore and think this scene of lone fisherman demonstrates the peace and solitude feel when it's just me, my hubby and the ocean. Also edited in Snapseed, but then that's a given.

Yes! to be able to be out in nature and walk with out a mask to protect the man off in the distance is almost like a normal scene? Love the capture and editing. The fisherman and sailboat both add to this scene.   Posted: 10/04/2020 06:37:16

With a little imagination, one can believe that the fisherman is trolling for boats! Why not? What else can we do these days. Nice juxtaposition of the man, his rod and the boat. Tells an interesting story.   Posted: 10/04/2020 19:07:01

I love everything about this scene. The crashing wave, the pattern of the receding wave in the sand, the fisherman (nice that he wore a red shirt) and the red boat in the distance and beautiful clouds in the sky. What more could you ask for. A beautiful composition. So nice that you can walk on the beach with the wind in your face and maybe feel a little normal again.   Posted: 10/11/2020 11:06:13

Thanks for your comments everyone. I found an excellent resize app and think some of my print problem was that during a trip last fall didn't have my camera phone set to its highest resolution. But my camera's setting is now getting 4032x2750 resolution that easily converts into whatever size want to print photograph from my Smug Mug site. I used the Image Resize/Photo Resizer free app to ensure that the photograph wanted made 11x14 print without any cropping of scene my camera captured. I checked and believe this app also available for Apple.   Posted: 10/13/2020 08:19:22

Nice beach/ocean/water scene. Several stories could be told with it. The red was a fortunate find since it stands proud of the blues and grays. I like the crop that includes the boat, too. I think I notice a halo on the water side of the fishing rod, so I might suggest reducing the edits a bit to remove it.

Excellent composition. The man, boat and water mark on the sand hold the image together . The horizon is well placed. The curve of the fishing rod is a small but interesting detail.   Posted: 10/22/2020 15:31:55
