About the Image(s)

These are scary times even when out on a walk on a rails-to-trails trail.I didn't do much to this. Accentuate and vignette in SnapSeed. And I did not place the eyes in the stump. Goblins I guess.

That's some kind of creature...I think I see an octopus there. It's the time when you're glad to have your phone/camera. Nice how you made the eyes pop out a bit.   Posted: 06/04/2020 17:47:48

Wow! I do not know what happened? I wrote comments and now they are not here. Crazy!

I love this image Dick. Wish it were mine. You treatment is perfect. I would not change a thing. The "eyes" make it!

If it is easy to find. This would be a great image in different seasons.

I walk by it fairly often. I'll keep your suggestion in mind through the seasons.   Posted: 06/05/2020 15:48:27

Fun image! Whoever put those eyes there is a creative. Maybe you could add something to it and start a trend where others could add things from time to time. Of course, I forget that there are always those individuals who might choose to deface it, so maybe that's a bad idea. Anyway, nice shot. As Jerry suggested, maybe re-visit in other seasons.

Definitely a fun image for the viewer. This creature is following the rules by wearing a mask! Thanks for sharing Dick.   Posted: 06/07/2020 10:38:53

A fun image and so creative of someone to add eyes. I would put a scarf around his neck in winter. It makes me think of a monster emerging from the swamp. I'm glad you stopped to take this image.   Posted: 06/07/2020 17:56:22

Love this photograph and glad I didn't encounter it during woodlands hike. Yikes. Good capture.   Posted: 06/13/2020 16:46:29
